School Meals
Children eat their school lunch in the school hall. Meals are cooked at Willington Primary School and delivered by Derbyshire County Council Catering Services. A nutritious drink is also provided. From September 2023 the price for a school meal will be £3.25. Meals should be paid for in advance; this can be done weekly or termly.
Children may bring their own packed lunch instead of paying for a school meal.
It is important that you let us know what your child's lunchtime arrangements will be. You must tell us if you would like to change the arrangements we currently know about. This will ensure either that we know to order a meal for them or to cancel an existing meal order so that you do not continue to be charged. If your child is absent for a medical appointment in the morning please let us know if they will or will not require a lunch that day. Thank you.
